moving midi files

I was wanting to know how I can move some midi files that I have created in another program ( Freestyl) and put them into Cakewalk??

Save them as standard MIDI files from within Freestyle, then just open the SMFs in Cakewalk. Note that the SMF format might not retain all the information about a project that Freestyle's native file format might. But all the notes, patches, banks, and track assignments should carry over just fine.

Cakewalk has no problem opening standard midi files. From the toolbar go file/open and find the folder containing your midi file CW will bring it right in.
Though I am not familiar with freestyle, I can only assume this program saves your midi file as a standard .mid extension, and not some proprietary progarm file.
The possibility also exists to drag and drop midi files from folder to folder thru Windows Explorer.
