How to use more than 1 midi controller the same time?

Here's the story...

I want to be able to use my panasonic cheapo keyboard and Yamaha DD50 e-drum to trigger patches in the JV1010 at the same for jamming....

The result I have so far is that the keyboard will trigger the piano AND the drum sound of the module as well.... e-drum is ok, it will only trigger the drums sound.

I have 2 midi tracks for each instument:
MIDI channel 1 - input:MIDI Omni, MIDI output: Channel 1, Patch: Piano
MIDI channel 2- input:MIDI 10, MIDI output: Channel 10, Patch: Drum

Can someone gives me the details to do the settings properly....?

If you're not using Sonar 3, then you are only able to hear the highlighted track (but you can, however, record to multiple tracks).

If you're using Sonar 3, then just specify which MIDI-controller (input) you will hear on that spesific track. (And you need to activate Input Monitoring on those tracks).

:)

Sheessssh moskus, where do you learn all these stuffs? :)

I am using Sonar2, so there's no solution to my problem? :(

I'm afraid, no. That's been really annoying with Sonar 1 and 2, especially when I've used softsynths live.

But now with Sonar 3 it's a breeeeeze. Just upgrade. :D
