Ensoniq EPS - Do I need a "definition" for cakewalk, or is Generic 1-128 OK?
I'm trying to get Cakewalk to talk to my Ensoniq EPS. First off, Do I need a Cakewalk Definition for this unit, or simply generic 1-127 or 1-128, as there are no loaded sounds on the EPS (You load as you go). The config is as follows: Out of computer (serial port)into Korg NS5R (Host Computer port - 16 x 2 channels) - "Thru" Korg Into "In" EPS - "Out" EPS into "In" Korg. I'm having trouble figuring out Port / Channel configuration??? Just wondering if any of you MIDI-Heads could help this MIDI-Tard. Thanx, Tom.
