Cakewalk and FXpansion, hand in hand....

Thats pretty cool. I still have a ways to go with dxi before I get into the "other" side of things.
 
I know that the DR-008 is the coolest thing since naked girls.
Kudos to Fxpansion on that one. My drums sound very authentic with Drumkit from Hell samples, and its FAST to get songs done.
I will also say that fxpansion tech support is among the best and fastest I have ever encountered. Kudos again. The writer of the program itself is who answers questions about it.

I am just beginning to see the usefulness of the dxi2 format, and it is heavenly.
What I want is a really cool synth with lots of good sounds and I will be happy for the most part, and I want something that REALLY sounds like a piano. All the soft synth pianos I have right now sound like ass.
