little green arrow at the beginning of timeline - how to get rid of it

Hallo,

I'm new to this board, so here's a little introduction: I play guitar, banjo and mandolin, record and mix for my electric band and make a track in Ableton once in a while. Hope to learn some stuff here about recording and mixing. So here's my first question.

One of my Ableton projects won't play from the selected clip or selected point in the timeline, instead it always starts from the beginning when I hit play. It's the only project that behaves this way and it's also the only project that shows a little green arrow at the start of the timeline in the arrangement view, so I figured the two are connected. I looked in the documentation but couldn't find the appropriate information. Does one of you know how I can get rid of that behavior and the little green arrow?

Thanks

I found the answer now. In the locator's (the loop bracket's) context menu you can uncheck 'Set song start time here'. Live than returns to it's default behaviour and starts to play the selection.
