Well, I took the plunge and bought the suite with the free upgrade to A9 when it comes out.
I was looking at FL studio, Traction (ugh) and Reason. I've heard that pro tools is good, but you cant try it for free without spending $50 for a lok..so no regrets there.
A guy that works at Guitar center asked me if I looked at Abelton, and I hadnt, so I tried the free download and the great tutorials from Tom Cosm and was hooked.

The support for this product seems to be a priority with this outfit and I'm looking forward to trying out my very first DAW with great anticipation.
