Hi All:
I'm a total neophyte. Just bought Zoom R8 and a couple of cheap computer speakers. I finally know how to record and play back on Zoom R8 but the sound coming from my speakers is very low (slightly more than audible). Please note that at this point I'm using the built-in mikes only. I've tried increasing the the output level under EQ/PAN from 100 to 127 (the highest it will go). Although the output level is stronger when I do this, I also get a high whining sound which I think is some sort of feedback. Is there some way to get a stronger/ouder sound when I play back by making some sort of adjustment to the Zoom R8 unit? Did I buy the wrong speakers? Any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks.
