zoom ps 02

hi, a local music store is having a 1/2 price sale on zoom ps-02 palmstudios so im kind of deliberating... Does anyone here actually own one or has used one? Any advice? Right now Im demoing on an old Yamaha MT100 4 track that stretches my audio tapes when I rewind, sounds like garbage, etc...
If anyone has any advice or can inform me a little more about the quality of the drum/bass sounds, it would be much appreciated. Also, does anyone know of any websites (other than the zoom homepage) where I can find mp3 demos of what this machine is actually capable of (its smaller than a CPU mouse!)?
 
Never actually used it, but if it does what it says any good, then it's a cool little unit. Very small indeed, ultimate in portable. I wouldn't think it better then a 4 track though. My guess is it would do for it's portable aspect, but you would never want to use it to do something like record a demo. Maybe putz around a bit with song writing/arranging, but not actual full on recording that you would let the public hear.

Hix, Im gonna start using the "report this post to a moderator" function...the Cave has plenty enuff room for foolishness....
