Zoom mrs 1608

is there anybody out there still using the MRS 1608 Recorder? I do and I would like to talk to someone who has experience with that thing. Hopefully talk to you later..

I have a Zoom H2n and just bought an R16. So far it has met my needs. I'll be checking this thread for replies even though they aren't talking about the specific equipment I have.

Live it, love it! Congrats on owning one! I have used mine for years. It is truly a tank! Kick it, drop it, etc....
You can't hurt the damn thing!!!!!!!!!!!

I went from a Zoom HD8CD to a Zoom R8. The interface/command menus and functions are virtually the same. The only real difference is the HD8 recorded to a hard drive and the R8 records to SD cards. I have a friend who used to own the MRS-802 and it was a tank. He recorded two CDs on that thing.
