Zoom MRS 1608 PLEASE HELP ME

Whats up everybody I'm new here and I have a VERY IMPORTANT ? (really means alot to me). I'm new (rookie) to recording I just bought a Zoom MRS-1608CD and I read the book but my problem is that when I try to take the drum track or take and put it in the 1st take so I can Record a simple drum beat it wouldn't to that :confused: . If someone could help me out it would mean the world to me. thanks
 
not a lot of Zoom users here and no forum, I have the little 4 track, can't help you on that one. There has to be a Zoom forum somewhere, Korg users have a good one. Search it, maybe from the company? Good luck let us know what you find.
