Hi all. I am thinking of purchasing a Zoom HD8. Anyone who can give me some positive or negative feedback ? It would be much appreciated.

Since I have not actually used this product, I cannot provide a review. I can however attempt to point you in the direction of reviews.

Usually when I try to find music product reviews, I'll try to find the product on sites like Musician's Friend, ZZounds, and Harmony-Central. The user reviews there are pretty good. If that doesn't help, google is my next choice.

I kind of remember reading something about the Zoom....like it will only record two tracks at once. Maybe I'm wrong but maybe I'm right.

Check out the unit carefully against your needs.

Also, check out the Yamaha AW1600--it's a nice box...a little weird operating at times; but the end product CD comes out cool.

Has mastering algorithms included which my 2816 did not have.

Thanks mate - will check that out also. It's a little hard 'cos I am a semi retired muso and know absolutely nothing about recording (other than playing when they say "PLAY" lol). Just want something to mess around with at home and have a little fun.
