Hi there. I'm not really a "newbie" but just re-registered after being away from Home Hecording for quite a few years. I used to use ADAT, still have 2 machines but they're getting cranky. So, I recently bought a ZOOM HD16CD 16 track digital recorder. It's really been a learning curve figuring out how to use it but I'm making progress. Digital things make me crazy but I guess I have to move into the present. I just finished a song on it & I'm and in the mixing / tweaking phase of the project. At 2 points in the song I have noticed what sounds like a "drop out", sort of like what used to happen sometimes on analog tape. Just a split second blip in the sound. Very annoying. Anyone else experience this problem with this recorder? If so, is there a way to fix it? I really don't want to record the song over again. Thanks for any advice.
