hey. i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get zipped VSTi's for the
ocarina, harmonica, latin percussion etc. those are certain instruments i'm looking for.

ok.... i'll play along.... why zipped???

here's a good source for vst's of all stripes

http://www.kvraudio.com

it never really works when its not zipped and compressed. like here for instance: http://spe3d.com/content/view/36/27/

it doesn't work for me because its not zipped. it comes out as a windows media audio file whenever its not zipped and there are no files to extract. if you could explain how this stuff works, that'd be great.

zip is a compression format... data compression that is not audio.. need to belabor that point i guess... anyhow what recording prog are you useing??? ie:cakewalk cubase etc... vst's are imported into the prog usually in the form of a dll. file

Whatever that link is, it's not a VSTi. I think it's a sample, it has a .SF2 extension. Dont know what that's for. A VSTi will have a .DLL extension like Demented said.
