What I'm wondering is if a Power Supply that has a SATA cable is more reliable than one that doesn't and you use a converter? The Zalman PSU I just got zm400A-APF doesn't have a SATA power cable like the zm400b does. Does it make a difference if you use a converter to power a SATA-HD.
My PSU just died last night... I went to get a new one and they had a OC-Z and a Zalaman 400A. I could go get the OC-z but SilentPC Review didn't make it sound that great. Looks prettier than it performs. Right now I don't have a SATA HD... just 2 Seagate IDE... but I plan on getting a SATA HD in the near future.
Thanks,
B.
