I've been downloading some of the tunes put up by various planeteers, and I like 'em....only thing is, it would kinda be the wrong area to make comments on them outside of the MP3 Mixing Clinic....the criticisms we (and now you too) give are mainly concerned with mixing, effects, sound in general, problems people may have in getting a certain sound, etc....we do NOT criticize the artistic nature of the songs or the playing abilities of anybody, and in my case, NEVER the voice....ahem....however if we hear something good in those areas, we let ya know big time....and our suggestions for your mixes are meant as just that, only suggestions...if you have time, read through some of the posts/reviews there and see if y'all are up to letting us hear yer stuff, and of course yer fellow planeteers would be critiquing too, because we're like one place now.....downloaded some of Father Time's stuff today, but haven't made any comments (but actually I liked them, guy can write lyrics...)...and as I said, anybody can submit, and anyone can review...there's a fairly small group actually that listen usually, because of download times, computer problems etc...and not all songs will have the same number of responses...but hope to see yer stuff there soon.....my fingers are tired.....gibs
