My synths:

Korg EX-8000
Korg Wavestatin SR
Yamaha TX802
Roland Juno-60
Akai AX-60
DSI Evolver Desktop
MFB 502 analog drum machine
x0xb0x
SCI Drumtraks
Introspectiv 9090
Midibox SID 4 voice

This must be a lotta fun. Old skool synths but good stuff. I had a drumtraks, thats one old synth. I think that was from 85 or 86?

I just got a few oldschool softsynths like Prophet, Minimoog and FM7. They sound just like the real thing but its not nearly as cool. I want to play with real knobs.

85 or 86?

Yeah somewhere around there. Neat box and I have a guy im Texas thats real handy with a Prommer so I have a nice collection of sound chips for it too

I do dance music so for me, the most new synths are pretty useless. I love old school sine/saw/square stuff. The advanced PCM wave stuff just does not do it for me at all.

Softsynths can be fun but its a far cry from the real thing. I mean I have never heard a P5, 808, 303, or any old analog that sound exactly alike so whats an emulation supposed to sound like? And you can never really program in the sloppy clock of an 808 or the super lo fi sound of a DX7 mk1 into software

Speaking of the Prophet, I read somewhere that Arturia is putting out a P5 softsynth

Speaking of the Prophet, I read somewhere that Arturia is putting out a P5 softsynth

The NI pro53 is what I have, its a P5 softsynth. Its the best one I own, it sounds like the real deal. The minimoog sounds way too good! Too clean and sterile. I am glad I got it but its not as much fun as I had expected.

All that home recording equipment? And what do you do with it? lol

Post some work so we can hear what all that money can do.
