Your comments about Melodyne

I have just checked out the videos for Melodyne from the website...and god..it seems a million times easier than any other auto tuning software out there in the markets! I love the audio to midi feature that it carries. its just sweet...how many of you guys use it? hows your experience with it?

I saw it demoed at Apple's WWDC a few years ago, and it looked really sweet. Audio to MIDI... not sure how useful that would be, since it would necessarily be monophonic, but....

I'm probably going to order it RSN, so I'm interested in user opinions as well.

They have a demo version for it. I've only experimented with the demo briefly a while back and it seemed pretty cool. I didn't get to deep with it though.

I heard that it is a much easier plug-in to get used to than antares ones and the rest.

Well dgatwood, the Audio to Midi thing will be really cool in Reason. especially cause it will basically copy and paste the notes onto the piano roll. and then if u have a sampling device like NNXT routed, u can use those notes to create the melody.
im gonna go and order it right now!

how much is the damn program? I know one guy who uses it religously but also illeagally.
