Nick, I replied in the other thread..."Sounds decent Nick. Everything is a bit sparse, but you should be able to fix that. Sounds like the overall quality of the recording is good.

there some nice playing here in most parts.
The drums sound a bit weak, the snare is quite kitchen sounding to me. try and dampen it a bit.
Loose the massive reverb on the vox.
tighten up the bass as well and bring it up a tad.

the guitar sound is good, and the phonecall ending is priceless.
Sorry If I`m being to harsh here.
but this was just what I heard on the first listen...

best of luck... :)

thanks for the advice

yeah the phone call at the end is retarded :D

I think you did a good job capturing Gimours guitar tone on this and the vocals are cool as well...to me what sets it apart from the original is the drum sound...specifically the snare...just sounds a bit thin..guitar solo was smokin!maybe a touch of reverb or delay during that part would fill out the sound a bit as it sounds like a 3 piece band playing.Nice job...cool to hear one of my fav's covered!

thanks alot for all the nice words and good advice

yeah i do not have all the best capablitities for drums yet ... next floyd song im gonna try a new technique on the toms

yah you were right it is a 3 piece band all 16 years old ...actually the guitar player is 15 and he is very good!

the same band did Rush's YYZ and Limelight but i cant seem to get them on that site

The drummer and the bass player are not locking up, and although it's not dramatic, it's noticeable. Drums are a wee bit anemic, especially the kick and snare. Too much reverb on the vox during the choruses imo. Very good guitar playing throughout. I think you did a good job on the guitars.

Nice job Nick The Man!!

Real good for a bunch of NT punks.

These little bastards are a dime a dozen around here.

It's always been this way Nick, When they ask you in kindergarden what you wanna be when you grow up, if your from Tonawanda, most kids say guitar player (or drummer or bass player)

Ya know what I mean?
