Guitar is good - write down those settings ! The drums sound a little far back in the mix to me, can you bring them up a little? I like the two different tones you used for the leads. The vocals are great - reverb sound right for that 70's sound. I think you have the vibe for Zep thing going well here..... Reminds me a bit of the Truth album too...
Great classic blues rock ziplock...

Thanks!! Finaly a good review! lol

I dont know how "close" I can make the drums, seeing as I'm recording w/ two overhead Mics lol :o

really cool stuff ziplock. I like the lead guitar tones very much. I think you nailed them just right. The rhythm guitar is a little wet and far back for my taste. I feel like it would be much tighter with the rhythm and drum more up front a little closer to the leads. Harmonica sounds awesome. I think that much reverb sounded good on that. For two overhead mikes .... that kick sounds really good. I enjoyed the song a lot. Thanks! :)

Anyone else? I'm anxious to hear what Greg_L thinks, lol, he's been a guiding light for me lately

If I know Greg_L he's probably working on another great tune :D ..... Maybe send him a PM asking him to listen...I'm sure he will like this one...... :D

I think your performance is fairly decent. Theres a few timing issues here and there, but its much better than that 'sunshine' cover you posted a while back. The guitar tones sound pretty good to me. I agree that the rhythms are still a little too wet. Bass could use a little more punch through too. Just a little though. The guitars probably be fine if the drums werent so roomy sounding. I think that's whats really holding you back at this point. Recording drums is tricky with 8 mics, let alone 2. I guess play with the EQ settings on the drum tracks, and don't add any reverb. Try to bring out some crack in the snare without making the cymbals ear-splitting. A more present snare can make the kit seem more up front. Getting better though. The vocals sound great, and the harmonica is excellent. :)

But don't take my word as any kind of gospel, I'm still new at this too. I've just been getting lucky. :)

I agree with everyone on the rhythm guitar thing, but I love the lead tone. The verb on the vocals is awesome too, really brings out the spirit of the era. Nice job!

The rhythm guitar that I panned to the left speaker? Or the guitar that goes w/ the vocals and has the 2nd solo?

I didn't add any effects to the soft guitar in the left speaker, it's just turned down.

sorry but I cannot download your file...could you tell me haw can I do ?

that's a good job. I agree, the tone of the leads sound really good. the ending is a little rough timing wise, but overall, that was enjoyable!! Keep up the good work.

That's a great cover right there. You did well with the drums establishing the groove and keeping it sparse. I agree with Greg, if you double the snare and compress it hard and bring it up underneath it will add that little bit of punch and volume. Really good job on this
