Hey,
Got so much great feedback and suggestions on this tune, I deeply thank all who took the time to listen!
I mulled over every suggestion, and incorporated quite a few into this new mix. Hope this is a little better.

This could be the final mix for this one, Time to move on to a new tune...What do you think?

Thanks again guys,
Joe

A couple of things that I liked... A real cool sound on that bass. I mostly liked the part, but maybe a few too many walks. It had a string out of tune though. But as I said, I liked the sound. I liked the drum part. I thought it supported the song well, and I liked the style. Kind of a "Ringo Starrish" style to it.

Those guitars are covering the vocals. Much of the vocal had trouble peeking through. Some pitchiness in them too. A couple of spots where the vocal really jumps out too much (e.g., :56). Harmonies? Plenty of spots for them.

A cool guitar solo in the middle. The double tracking gets off just a small bit, but not too distractingly.

As for your question... If you're sick of the song, then move on to something new (this is supposed to be fun right?). Nothing to stop you from coming back.

Trip.

Nowhere to Go...

Nice clean... almost "too" crispy thing here... voice is slightly back in the
mix... the low-mids on it DO poke out once in a while, but the articulation
is missing on it... almost like the cymbals are stealing your clarity...

Really a lot going on here in your production... pretty cool... the walky bass
is esp. interesting... those chromatic scales...

Some of these tracks are running roughshod over others... that "Lapsteel" sounding
guitar that peeks out and wails once in a while is being trampled to death...

Suggest going easier on the EQ boosts... esp. on the extra crispy tracks...
begin the mix from the drums/bass/vocs... and fill in the rest of the audio
spectrum when you have the space... as is right now, the overall effect is
"disorganization/chaos"... this thing deserves a really smooth mix, IMO.

Keep goin!
