hi, this might be a dumb question, i am not sure.
I want to connect my soundcard (audiophile 2496) to the yorkville YSM1p. audiophile has RCA outputs and yorkville accepts inputs that are either XLR or 1/4 inch T.R.S. (balanced).
So, I should get two XLR to RCA cables, right? And I connect one cable from the left out (RCA) on the audiophile to one of the monitors and I do the same with the other cable (right out of audiophile to other monitor) and everything should work. Basically, before I buy the cables I want to make sure I know what I'm doing. If someone knowledgable can let me know I would be grateful.
