It's a game that everyone walks around a circle on squares with numbers on them, and they play music and when the music stops a number is drawn and the person standing on that # wins a cake.

Why would you want a cake after you sat on it? Are you sure you're not thinking about musical chairs? And why wouldn't it be called a cake sit then?

Well, it HAS mostly the idea you described.. about the walking around (so it's around CAKES), the music that stops etc. Just WHEN it stops, you go and sit on the cake nearest to you.
And of course there are not enough cakes for everyone so there will be just a few who will actually win the cake (they stand on).

That's Cakewalk.

Whats Cake walk?!
It's one of the following:
a) An easy walk (piece of cake)
b) A walk to a bakery
c) None of your business
d) All of the above
e) None of the above

:D

I'm not sure what "Cake walk" means (I'm norwegian :D), but I know "Cakewalk" means the best audio-programs the world has seen! :)

Cake walk is a colloquialism that means something that is easy to do.

Walking a cake is different kettle of fish.

Kettle of fish is a colloquialism that means that a cake is different to a fish. Although you can get fish cakes.

And some fish can actually walk, the mud skipper is a good example.

Mud skippers don't eat cake so far as I'm aware. At least, not while they're skipping.

I've never seen a fish in a bakery.

I hope that clarifies thing for you Moskus. :)

Aren't mud skippers like mud puppies? I dissected one in biology lab a few years back. big fat heads, like moskus'. Fish cakes are really good. But we fry our fish cakes and eat it with rice. Yum!

I think the question was about Cake walk though. It's definitely something like a moon walk, only easier. And I thought the winner of musical chairs won a cake? I am so confused.

hope that helps

James, it's obviously that you're not familiar with the world of "The Simpsons"...

I once had a pair of Hush Puppies, but I never dissected them. I certainly didn't try frying them. :)
