This is my last request to audience your joint.
If your game is on the up & up, be real otherwise what lil bit o' help, assistance and science I can provide can be better applied to the many madd talented peeps here then wasting my Rolex with you.

Album and shit?

Doesn't this cat already claim to have his own album? You'd think he'd be able to drop a quick demo on you at will- but....

No pressure reefage! Seriously though this is a home recording entheusiast site, not a "if you post some substandard shit you will never have a career" forum. Get it together reef- pretty much everyone here already thinks you are a fakin ass poser mark, so what have you got to loose? Kick us the *realness*. Why not just drop a track from Boyish Man?

Yo' colo-dj, the brutha' came to me straight up so we declared a truce. Not to get all into the subject, even though he had loudly PRONOUNCED his worldly musical skillz & production here, he was humble enuff to ask me for any assistance I can provide in furthering his career.
I have a few, tight contacts in the biz, nuthin' great, but enuff to at least get a brutha' sh#t heard, but I can't waste mine or any-1
else's time, yet alone rep about a brutha's production to "THOSE WHO KNOWS" and have that same brutha' not comin' correct or comin' at all!
This reflects badly on me and jeopardizes future opportunities on the ones who's game IS correct!.

My younger bro recently signed with DefJam and is presently working on his debut C/D which is a slow,hard progress for new talent trying to maintain their originality while at the same time fighting the studio's urge to bend the production towards a more commercial edge, but by at least getting his @ss in the door and taking full advantadge of that 1 opportunity for a few minutes to present his case to "THEM", he secured a worthwhile deal.

I've enjoyed a small modicum of success BACK IN THE DAY (I'm a bassist by nature, with some keyboard,guitar, drums and lil sax...VER LIL!!) as studio sessionist on bass in Jazz,R&B & Funk and appeared on a few mid-major, independent and local labels, I was afforded the chance to present my work to "THOSE" not just based on talent alone, but having a "CONNECT" who opened the door for me and me taking advantadge.

In other words, if some-1 offers U a chance to assist U in furthering and expanding your career whatsoever, or you request
some help from that individual, don't front! If your sh#t is REAL
then DAMMIT REPRESENT!!! You might not ever get that chance again!!

OK, so there's a little more wieght on it than just the redicule of board members. But still, it's been like a week right?

Congrats to your little bro. Hopefully he'll feel like what comes through the production in the end is *him* and not what *they* interject. That's biz though right? I do my music music's sake for now, but who knows in the future.

Well it is a generous offer, but I can bet that, just like the album covers on his website- his self-proclaimed skills will prove to be fraudulent! Come-on prove me wrong Reefer!

Now the Little Debbie squab presented in the cave on the other hand... wow- that's realness (psht! hmm hmm et hemm)

BTW- I had a vocal mentor a couple of years ago who was a platinum artist back in the 80's (Bert Robinson if you ever heard of him- he sounds a lot like Luther V). I sang in his gospel group for a year or so, and I still can't believe how much we gained from him sharing his skill and knowledge. He's now a minister, and his life is devoted to giving.

I'll tell you what- the world needs more cats like him and you to help the up-and-comers. I know that in my life I will be able to give back what I have musically too, both in performance, and mentoring.
