Yo Cross...I'm using my ASR-X and Sonar together and rememered you where using a similar setup. Just wondering how you are saving your files? I saved to a mid file and loaded into the ASR and had major reprogramming to do (shit still ain't right)and the ASR's seqeuncer fucked up some of the timing. I want the file as a all one ready to go type thing but don't wanna fuck up my tracks. How are you saving your shit???

I thinking my best bet might be to save the ASR samples and setup info to a zip and just drop a the SONAR (.wrk and midi) file in there somewhere with the files. But that means I still need to have SONAR around... I'd rather just have all the shit on the ASR for playback but it's such a bitch to deal wit unless the track is completly finished. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Also thought about sync'n up and recording the midi...

i never, ever, ever use the sequencer on my ASR-X, but you should be able to save your Sonar .cwp as a .mid and throw it into the ASR-X.

i played around with it a few times and it was just terrible.

when i'm in the studio i've got the ASR-X connected to my desktop via a wavecenter soundcard.

when i'm out and i need to take my ASR-X with me (which isn't often), I connect it to my laptop via Tascam 428 USB which has midi-in/out.
