Hey all. I've looked for it here but can't find anyone that's discussed Gadgetlabs? Has anyone had any results using their Wave 424 or 824 soundcards? I am soundcard shopping and want 24 bit for under $300 and these are the only ones I can find any info on...any help is appreciated. Thanks folks.

we've discussed gadgetlabs a zillion times here.. :) regardless , i have yet to hear a complaint regarding anything that comes from that comapany.. definitely worth the money..

thanks, Eddie. I'm a 'newbie' to the site (but love it), so I'll look a wee bit harder for the past Gadgetlab stuff. Thanks!

Don't forget the search feature - look near the top right of the page you're viewing right now.

Also, I have to say it... If you're looking at cards under $300, you should also consider the Midiman Delta44 ($259 street) and Delta66 (adds digital IO to the 44, $299 street). Many disucssions on these cards here and in other forums (like comp.sys.ibm.pc.soundcard.music). Check 'em out at www.midiman.com.

But I've also heard nothing bad about the Gadget Lab cards. About the only thing I've heard is that perhaps the driver support for the midiman cards is somewhat better, but I can't speak from first-hand experience as I don't have a Gadget Labs card to compare.
