Hello,

I have made my mind up that I want to buy the Boss Br-1600 CD. I've done alot of research and this unit looks unbeatable.

Anyway, full retail at the local music store in Ontario, Canada is going to be over $2000 Cdn. There are lots of great online stores (zzounds.com, musiciansfriend, etc. etc. etc.). BUT, they do not ship to Canada.

Anybody know any online music sites that have good prices, and will actually ship to Canada? (Even better, a good price on a Br-1600 !)

I have searched google, but have not had much luck.

My Canadian friends have confronted this dillema by finding the best price, have a stateside friend buy the piece and ship it to them as a "gift".

This, of course, assumes that you know an American citizen you can trust with your loonies...

And did you consider the Yamaha AW16g while you were looking? I have one and the BR-1600 CD seems like a big toy while the AW seems like the least expensive pro model. Just a thought.
