Spread the Daf!
Actually a flea market score.
Got these Sony SS M3s for $50 for the pair!!!!
I remember reading the reviews when they came out in the 90's and they were 900 bucks a pair then.
I see 'em used anywhere from 4-6 hundred.
Guy owned a record shop ... said they were his personal speakers but he's moved on and sold 'em with a 30 day return for $50.
Wheee ...... :)

Gonna have some new monitoring.

50 bucks ............. happy sigh ......

Excellent.

What are you going to power them with? Have you listened to them yet? How do they sound?

I stuck one on my living room stereo just to compare to my casual listening Polk floorstanders ..... it sounded a little dark. But I'll need to hook 'em both up and spend a little time with them to be sure.
I have a couple of Audioscource 100pc power amps I use for listening.

Nice grab -- Once in a great while (a GREAT while since the internet has come along) you still find a good score at a pawn shop...

Yeah ...... they probably looked a little wierd to most people buty I remembered the review plus audiophile stuff is often heavily camphered like that.
Just lucky for once.
