I would like some of your opinions on whether to buy the Yamaha S03 Synth & a Akai S2000 sampler or a compressor & multieffect processors! Currently my home studio includes
Roland MA-8 Moniters
Tascam 424MKII Multitrack recorder
Boss DR-550MKII Drum Machine(selling for $75)
Yamaha PSR-340 Keyboard(selling for $225)
Phonic MX1002 Mixer(selling for $50)
My genre's are hip-hop/rap & r&b. I somewhat of a newbie to recording and have a budget of $800; any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
