You really dont even need those (M-Audio Sound Card MIDI Adapter Cable) or ASIO4ALL - Universal ASIO Driver For WDM Audio. all you need is a Monster Cable Acoustic Instrument Cable (Straight 1/4 Inch Plugs) and a mini plug adapter. Connect one end from the keyboard and the other end to the computer sound card. Mine works perfect, the only difference is that I have a PSR-500
 
Nope, you need that adapter to use it as a midi controller, not just an instrument.
 
That cable might not be enough for MIDI unless you have a MIDI card. A simple Maudio Midisport is what I use with my PSR to get MIDI on the PC.

To simply record it then a good soundcard and a stereo 1/4 inch adapter is required.

What exactly do you want to do with your PC ?
 
basically i want to make just like simple beats with it
 
Use a Good soundcard and a stereo 1/4 inch adapter. And like avieth said you do need the MIDI Cable if you are using it as a controller. :)
