yamaha p90?? or p120

as i know p90 is the product from p120 only without amp and speaker
(that means sound and touch are equal)

but people say in review(zzound,samash) that p90 sounds sucks

but p120 sounds greate and its almost real piano

what is happen in sound??

i planned buy p90 and (beringer truth203a or yorkville mps1) because i dont like innner speaker but now i dont know what to do.

what is the better choise??? p90? or p120

Coincidentally, I just bought a used P90 last night. I have a P200, but for gigging, it just doesn't fit in my car. A P90 is almost half the size (front to back).

Comparitively, they both have exactly the same touch, and I'd have to say that both have excellent piano sounds. I can't speak about the P120, but I can say that I see no dropoff whatsoever between my massive P200 and the much smaller P90. In fact, the P90 is supposed to have even better samples than the previous generation P80, which I take it was the same jump that was made with the P200 to the P250.

The only thing I can gripe about with the P90, is that with it's much slimmer and lighter design (it is a serious stage piano though, don't get me wrong), comes one drawback: it uses a wall wart. The good thing about wall warts is that for cheap, you can pickup a spare one, throw it in your gig back and never have to worry about expensive power-supply repairs. The bad thing is that sometimes its difficult to find a spare outlet that will fit the wart, and the adapter plug is usually pretty flimsy.

That being said, the P90 wowed me the first time I saw it and played it, and I thought, why do I own this massive P200 when this P90 sounds equally as good and weighs half as much?

I own a Yamaha P-120, and it is absolutely superb. I love it!

I personally prefer the P-120 over the P-90 for many reasons:

-Superior Acoustic Pianos: Much warmer and mellower. Beatiful, rich sound.
-2 Pedal Inputs: Allows you to add an extra pedal.
-Mahogany Wood Finish: Looks beatiful.
-Onboard Speakers: Superb speakers that create vibrations through the keys.

I have a P120 also and love it. One thing you notice is that the keyboard has a slight vibration when played with the internal speakers on.. a bit more of a real feel to go with the great pianos.

I have read one review about the actions P120. It says that it is a piece of crap because you cannot play PPP on it. Is this true? I went to a store here to compare different models like Yamaha P's, Kawai MP9500, some Roland and Korg models. Honestly, MP9500 indeed feels more like accoustic piano though it is still not that sensitive. Roland and Korg are too light and feels like "spring loaded" action instead of "hammer action". Yamaha feels alright. But I cannot make a good judgement in the store because the noise and pushying people to kick me out of the store. Anyone has experience on this?
