yamaha oh1 mixer

I record my drums into a yamaha oh1 mixing board. I was wondering how the pre's on those compare to others. most of the time i use a triggered kick and snare anyways in the end mix, however, i was thinking maybe for the overheads i could use some other pres or something. suggestions please thanks.

The pres in the o1-V are nice. I've used them live and recording....I personally like them....now that said, there's always a pre-amp to fatten the sound up for whatever source you can record.

Do you think the pre-amps suck on the o1V?
