Yamaha MT8X mixing

hey everyone

I'm glad I found this board and it looks like kool people all around.

I recently bought the yamaha mt8x for little money and I'm really glad, that I don't have to skrew around the computer anymore.
everything works more or less, though I don't understand some styles...I found the manual, though it doesnt make sense all the time.

question:

how do I mix one track after I recorded it? All I can do is make it louder and quiter on the cue thing on the right. I though I can mix the different tracks on the board, when I recorded them...

I would be really thankfully if somebody can help me out.

Look up the manual and start reading kiddo. You should be able to record 8 tracks and mix them together using pan and volume. It's a relatively simple procedure on a cassette recorder.

I read the manual 3 times so far you old man. my english skills aren't tight enough to understand everything.
