I'm currently using an old YamahaMT100II that is need of repair. I believe the internal power supply burnt up. I can't seem to find anyone who'll take on the job of fixing it. It's just lost all power but I think the unit is still intact. Can anyone recommend where to send it?
If I can't get it fixed, maybe I should just go digital but I can't really justify the expense since this my toy.

If it is just the power supply, try a new one of the same voltage. Go to any electronic store and purchase a power supply transformer. (12v, 9 v etc...) be sure to get one rated for enough current. (1 amp, 500 ma)

It is worth a try before throwing the whole thing out!

If you don't know how to solder, or follow schematics, be careful and mabye ask someone else to do it.

There's a place here in Dayton, OH called Musicians Repair that fixed my Dad's MT100 years ago. You might check with them.
