Howdy folks - i am in need of opinions, advice, and technical knowledge.
i have a small home studio running a PC DAW w/ an E-MU 1820m.
i am in the market for a small, compact mixer to use mainly as a physical volume control, but also to use to extend my monitoring chain and to have extra pres for scratch tracks.
what are the key differences in the monitoring chain between the Yammie and the Soundcraft?
are there any noticable limitations in the architecture of these mixers?
i'm leaning towards the Yammie simply b/c it has 4 preamps, which will be more usable for me when i do small live gigs. but again, the pre-amps are of secondary importance. i'm really just looking for a physical routing/monitoring chain control.
