Yamaha DS2416 setup forLAGW?

Just got the DSP factory with the adat optical interface. Don't know if my brain is in bozo mode or if I'm just the moron of the month, but I can't get it to output to the lightpipe. The dip switches are set to adat & I can see the red light at the D/A converter end. It plays fine out of the stereo analog outputs. (yes, the cables between the two cards are indeed connected) The Yamaha manual is not very helpful & my feeble brain is not making any sense of the DS2416 section on routing in my Logic manual. Wahhh, I wanna record! I don't wanna be a rocket scientist! Any one willing to help with step by step instructions? I'll buy ya an ice cream cone. (though, it may melt by the time you receive it)

I was in Moron Mode

So, out of 40 gazillion cables, one optical cable was routed to the wrong spot in my Digipatch. Works great! Figgered it out all by myself! Such a big boy!
