Yamaha DD55 Digital Drum Pad

If you go 'direct in' you'll get the sounds that are built into the DD55 only.

If you use a midi cable you'll be able to access an infinite variety of sounds provided you have a computer with appropriate software.

Please post again with more info --- you have a Tascam FW1082, but what's on the other end of the Firewire?
