This is a message that I was dreading having to write.
Unfortunately, money issues are causing me to sell the heart and soul of my modest studio setup. Here's the scoop:
The unit is barely 6 months old, and it's in 100% mint condition. I
have a cover for it (which I will include) which has ALWAYS been on when the unit is not in use. No dust, no cat hair, no exposure to cigarettes. I've probably logged about 200 hours on the thing. It's been in my home since day 1 - it moved only when I did. It also comes with an MY8-AT card, which I bought separately to interface it with the Hammerfall audio card. I *might* consider selling the Hammerfall with it as well, if you ask a reasonable price for the whole package. Together, that's a pretty powerful base for a home system. But I'm guessing you know that already.
I can supply pictures, more info if needed. Unit comes with original packaging, manuals, update disks and whatever else is necessary.
One caveat: I'm currently residing in Canada. If you're interested in purchasing the unit, be prepared to pay for whatever shipping costs are accrued. I don't know what those might be, but if you're serious about this, please make sure to bear that in mind.
I'm asking $2700US for the Yamaha AW4416, the MYAT-8 card, the vinyl slipcase and everything else that comes with it.
To give you some perspective, Sweetwater.com (not the cheapest price out there, I know, but still) would ask for $3,559.94 for this unit BEFORE TAXES. Given that it's in mint condition and still under warranty, I think $2700 is reasonable.
