Someone posted about Sonar crashing in XP and the machine would autoreboot. I finally encountered this myself.
I have XPpro on a 1.3 ghz Athlon with 512 meg mem. The file I`m working on now has 12 midi tracks with an episode of LSP running with each and about 160 meg of ram dedicated for soundfonts. I mixed those tracks down to stereo audio and archived the midi`s along with the LSP tracks. I can edit and save in the file, but t when i try to do a normal close, the XP message appears and says it has encountered and error and Sonar must be closed. In "details" it says the error occured in Sonar.exe.

when I press "close" in the error window, the machine reboots every time. My file is intact every time I open it though. Never had it do this repeatedly before. I`m thinking it must have something with do with the number of LSP's or the archiving.
I reinstalled Sonar, verified the XP files, reinstalled LSP and it didnt fix the problem. The only other time this has occured was with B4 but that was intermittent and corrected with a reinstall.

This is just for one particular project, right? No other does this?

And why haven't I heard about this before? ;)

Just the one project. The only difference in any other project is in the use of so many instances of LSP. I can open it, edit it, save it, but to close it it encounters a fatal error and closes with a reboot following. I reinstalled everything and it still does it on the one project. Everything is archived except for a stereo audio track of the mix. Interesting little glitch...
