xaviere tele

thanks to the guys that suggested xaviere when I asked about a cheap tele...I ended up going for the JT-90 telemaster in putrid surf green


Ive just spent a few grand on new gear and this $200 guitar is stopping me playing with anything else...sure its built cheaply but the twang from the GFS pups is exactly what I wanted

Its their little crunchy mini humbucker.....ive mainly been using the bridges fatbody but the mini sounds OK to me too...


you'd prolly change a lot of the hardware on this but the pups are perfect imo

It's funny. I was checkin into Xaviere guit-fiddles again just last week. Really thinkin I need another guitar.
AND....I don't have a tele.
And I have an odd number of guitars.

I took my Xaviere to a tech for decent setup. It made a huge difference. He also scraped off the goofy 'Xaviere' decal. No guitar should be called Xaviere. Stupid chinese.

Hey Kel, if you get their tele, be sure to get the tweed case, it's only $10 more.

yeah man its like christmas...but much of the new stuff is boring, line mixer, midi patchbay, two racks, keyboard stand....etc etc...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

the red stains on the stock photo...none on mine

I read the reviews and its a little hit and miss on quality (not sound), mine seems great, the nut has to change, a couple of frets are a little sharp at the ends and the tone/volume plate needed tightened but apart from that I think Ill put new tuners on it and that'll be it...she was almost in tune when i took her out the box

actions a little high but ive got a couple of cheapos you could drive a bus under the strings so no big deal...Im gonna buy a JT-100 next

I hate to say this, it's pretty obvious to me that this isn't a tele. It looks more like a a jazzmaster or something along those lines. The only thing that looks like a tele is the control plate. Other than that looks like a good guitar. I'm always looking at stuff on guitarfetish; thinking about buying a tele body, but the whole guitar is not that much more.

Ahhhh! That is a horse of a different color then. That is one cool guit. The pic of the Xaviere doesn't seem to bring out the shape as the other pics do (or maybe the shape is a bit different?). Anyways, now I like it! I'll be googling around about it! Thanks for enlightening me.
