Has anyone checked out these guitars on Guitar Fetish's web site?

They look pretty nice. I exchanged a couple of emails with 'em. The guitars are MIK to Guitar Fetish's specs and it looks like they actually have decent hardware in them. I like the thinline LP clone; it has two split-coil hummers with push-pull pots and is quite attractive. Solid mahogany body and neck, with a nice arch top:

The guy who runs that place posts on Harmony Central all the time. I've heard good things about his stuff. (Crazy prices - a pre-wired Strat pickguard for 30 bucks).

Jay was very prompt anwering my email inquiries.

The LP clone thinline neck has a 12" radius, nut width of 1-11/16", and the profile is based on a 1960 LP Special. The Tele clone has the same radius and nut width, with a profile based on a 1961 Tele. Seems to me as if they've done their homework.

Rather have a Korean guitar than a China. The Japan and Korean models seem better than the China IMO.

I'm using GFS pickups in my Epi LP right now and they sound great. I'm thinking about picking one of these babies up for the hell of it.

Check out the "Blems," they're $245 or something. The HC guys that have gotten them report the actual blemishes as inconsequential, sometimes better finished than supposedly unblemished Xavieres (we all have bad days at the office...).

I have an XV-900, nice, sounds great.

Edit: I also replaced the bridge pickup in my Lite Ash Tele with a 50's Repro GFS, and it's awesome too.
