I have just acquired this Mixer, and I am pleased with it

Question: To change the parameters of the effects it states something to do with the MIDI Input
can someone advise what I need what unit I need to be able to do this I am a beginner on this stuff

You need the Allen & Heath MixWizard FX Editor software - although which version of the mixer do you have?
The software is located on the Allen & Heath web pages - I use the SQ-7 and only have procured the software
for that.

There was no Attached Picture - but the software is for a legacy mixer - i.e…yours - which you could of done a simple google search and found yourself - in 5 minutes.

Thank you I did the search but my main question really is how do I get the software
Installed...do I use a laptop connected to the Midi port Not all.of us have the tech knowledge nor experience.

I don’t understand your question - you install the software like you would any software - if you are talking about how you get it to your board - it has to have midi or usb - doesn’t it have one or the other?

What do I plug into the Midi port
Is it a laptop or another device
