WTB: Tascam 488 mkii

Hey guys,

I'm living in Canberra (Australia) and have been scouring for a Tascam 488 mark II 8-track cassette recorder (the mk II is the model with the phantom power and 3 band EQ per channel) for ages with absolutely no luck.

If you are an oz-tralian who has one of these in good condition that they're willing to part with, please reply in this thread with a price.
 
i have a 424 MKIII im willing to sell, no phantom power though
it has 3 band eq with sweepable mid. used it a few times but thats it

I'd prefer the 488 mk 2 preferably because it's an 8-track (I want to avoid bouncing if I can). However, I'll keep this in mind and keep an eye on this thread - if I haven't found anything I'll be in touch because from the looks of some images I've found this looks to be a nice unit.

How much would you be asking for this unit?
