WTB: powerd or passive monitors

i need some studio monitors.. i have a very clean power amp so I can get away with passive monitors.. I'd like something decent if anyone has anything they want to get rid off and want to ship to canada pm me. I was thinking something along the lines of the Mackie HR824's (i know they're active.. i'd probably prefer some active monitors...less equipment taking up space right hehe)

HR824's are NICE monitors, also check out Genelec's smaller range which are something quite incredible, ADAM monitors, and the Mackie HR624's. Yamaha HS50's/HS80's are good but only buy NS10's if you a: have other monitors and B: can put them meter bridge level/on your meter bridge, cos they're fairly shrill sounding and bad positioning can result in disastrous sound. (and the speaker cones go on the inside when they're on their sides.
