WTB: cool guitar

I walk the line
Vague and generic, I know, but I'm in the market for something cool.

LP, strat, tele primarily, but the right hollowbody might strike my fancy.

Don't pm me, please. I can't seem to keep them cleaned out before they fill up again.

I find that rather hard to believe.

I have the two coolest guitars on the planet . . . the Epiphone Airscreamer, soon to feature real windows (clear bobbin pickups), and the Fender So-Cal featuring Brian Wilson Presents Smile sticker, soon to have a chickenhead knob painted like an actual chicken's head :cool:

They aren't for sale :p

I wasn't actually thinking quite that extreme, but they do sound very cool. I dig the window idea. You need to get a nameplate that says '409' for the SoCal. :)
 
I have a little Jap guitar kind of a Garage players special, ready for all kinds of mods, $40 and it's yours!

I don't have web at home so it might be a day or two before I could get back to you...

But we are in the same city so I think we could link up and work it out, little 3/4 black guitar with a hardtail bridge and what looks like very large single coil pickups and volume knobs for each pickup.
 
I think the coolest ones are old played in strats and tele's...ones where the neck finish in the back is worn off...like if it had been played by someone since the 1960s

I have alot of cool stuff...but I can see where you are going with this.

I have a Red Kramer Beretta with a reverse head stock, quad rail w/push-pull tap humbuckers, Jolly Rodgers tuners, and a HS case. Very good condition too. $450 (+ shipping)

I know you can't do a pic, but what basic shape, LP, strat, tele, flying v?

Yeah, it wasn't exactly the point of this particular thread, but what I'd really like is an LP that's structually sound, but cosmetically challenged because it's been used/abused/played to death. As long as I liked the original color/finish and it doesn't need anything more than new hardware to make it play well. No warped/cracked neck, broken off headstock with a bad repair job, etc.

But really I'm looking for funky stuff.

Can't get enough, of that funky stuff, I said woa, woa, woa, woa, woa, woa yeah.

That ESP is my favorite guitar hands down. Sounds amazing, plays incredible. I wish I had the money.

'78 Telecaster, sunburst w/ black scratchplate. A few knocks and some missing paint, but very well set up. Recently fret dressed and plays like a beauty.

i've got a 96 (i think) american strat plus delux with 2 lace sensors and a hot rail in the bridge. roller nut, locking tuners, maple, what i'd call seafoam blue (hehe) with locking trem.. that sound cool?

michael kelly hourglass with rio grande p-90's (blues bar/jazz bar) in transparent grey/black. sweet guitar only available because i just bought a gibson sg standard with fralin pafs and could use a bit of cash to offset the purchase. please make an offer if so inclined. :)
