Still...drives me nuts when I see a music ad where they can't spell it right (and I see them all the time).....
"Rythem, Rythum, Ryhtm…. guitar player looking for working band.....etc...etc."
I figure, if it's your profession or even your passion/hobby....you should at least be able to spell it correctly.

I figure, if it's your profession or even your passion/hobby....you should at least be able to spell it correctly.
Back in the day before teh interwebz when you had to ring up the local music press and place a classified, I'd invariably find my carefully worded and correctly spelt ad had been mangled by the phone ad taker by the time it appeared in print... or worse, abbreviated. Because they charged by the word they'd do whatever they could to make the words smaller to increase the ad/column inch ratio...
