Wrapping my DIY Acoustic Tiles plz help

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to just wrap the ridgid fiber glass with Cotton Muslin and have the frame behind it... as opposed to going around the fiberglass?


so the Cotton Muslin will almost be tying the fiberglass tile down onto the frame... Would this be ok?? or does the frame really need to be running on the outside of the tile?

Hope someone can understand what I mean, it's hard to explain

I didn't use a frame at all, but it sounds like what you're asking will work fine. Ethan Winer mentions on his site that it helps to have a space between the rigid fiberglass board and the wall.
