KICK ASS!!!!!! Pugelist errrrr pglewis or no, these are excellente.

dreamin had me creamin!!!!

heheheh

I guess this is a post by proxy. Very big compliment. Nice tune, too. Of course, if I learn that the whole thing was played and recorded by a 12 year-old girl, THEN I'll REALLY be impressed.

Holy Shit! Is the neck on the guitar water cooled or is it equiped with cooling fins? Dreamin on a Train- is that an open tuning?

BAMM!! Kick ass one time! You rock Tree, liked the bass playin too!

... whoa... these MM speakers must resonate at 150Hz or something... seems boomy (bass)... and tad bit of mud...

But who's the dude on 'e' (or crack) smoking that guit-fiddle? Can we all say "I'm not talented... YOU are"? :D THIS needs a fiddle... where's DavidK??

:D

Hey David - it ain't me!

It's pglewis - and his buddies.

Damn, boy - you've been holding out on me! I gotta get to work.

damn my bad! Well you still kick ass Tree:D Nice one pglewis!

great playing....and recording quality not as great, but captured more in a "demo" kinda sound. A little boomy and mono-ish, but otherwise fairly decent. I like instrumentals...this one too....a couple of ragged edges here and there, but nothing too major.

Smokin' chops! Gotta get you a better mic for christmas ;) ....cool stuff though!

Track: I checked the notes and Sister Beula was indeed playing an open tuning: D A D F# A D. The guitar, however, was a conventional air-cooled model without any fins or heat-sinks.

Mix: You hit the nail on the head as far as the recording quality. Preamps were probably the one's built-in to the Fostex DMT-8. This hadn't been done with backing tracks before, just a solo piece, so this was a snapshot to see how it translated. Chops are actually pretty sloppy, makes Sister Beula cringe.

SLuiCe: Cool! And a better guitar, and preamp, and... and....

Damn man.Is that you playing guitar PG?I used to hang out with some fusion bluegrass guys that played acoustic guitars like this.....some tough shit to play....Tight little band you have there.Good playing all the way around.

Damn Sam! that was taaaasteeeeee. Thats what Hot Tuna would have sounded like if they had ever done a follow up to "Water Song"

I'll just go cut my fingers off now.

Twist

Smokin' !!

I always had HUGE respect for finger pickers like this!

Nice Job!

Kramer: The "band" here is just two guys; I'm playing the lead and my friend Joe is playing rhythm, bass, and drums.

jcmm: Actually, that's all flatpickin'. Lot's of pull-offs... sounds like I'm doing more than I really am.
