I've done my homework as best I can and have decided the best bang for the buck for someone who doesn't have anything other than freebie software for now is to get the "Megastudio Producer package" and a new PC. My current PC is about 8-9 years old and doesnt quite meet all the minumum specs. My question for you folks is look at the PC I'm about to have built and make any suggestions as needed. I'm planning on adding an external hard drive to actually record the music portion. But look at the system specs and make any suggestions as needed. This is for a small project studio that I hope to expand to a "Semi Pro" operation over the next couple years. I like the FP10 ability to daisy chain up to 3 units for 24 tracks. I'm pretty sure that would be all I'd ever need.
