by the time i'm 83
they say there won't be social security
and people won't care
about the degree i earned when i was 23
or the college i applied to when i was 17
i'd rather live now then prepare for the end
because it will happen with or without me
won't be nothing left for me
deep sense of tranquility
is all I can hope for (work for)
maybe there will be a war
and we'll have to live off the earth
like before at the beginning (I'd be happy)
naturally in harmony equilibrium reached
living in peace everything in balance
like before at the beginning
won't be nothing left for me
deep sense of tranquility
is all I can hope for (ask for)
(fuckin' rockin' solo)
people care more about politics
then broken relationships
that they need to fix
in order to go on living comfortably
won't be nothing left for me
deep sense of tranquility
is all I can hope for (work for)
and I'm sick of hypocrites
with their lying lips
feeling safe in their homes
with a false sense of reality
everything is uncertain
it may not be what everyone else is doing
but this is how I choose to live
and once you can accept this
you'll understand that humanity's greatest gift is
