Word Clock?

I am using M-Audio's firewire 410 with Cubase SL. I have experienced some pops and clicks in the simple recordings I have made. Do I need to get a word clock to fix this or does the 410 have something built into it that I need to tweak?

no you don't need a word clock. try adjusting your playback and recording buffer settings.
